Pintail Point is a destination resort. They have sporting clays, golf,
hunting, fishing, a bed & breakfast and a working farm, but I was there to
shoot sporting clays. Since I was by myself, I hooked up with Max. He's one of
their trappers and a heck of a nice guy.
The course started out nicely over the water but soon turned inland. I think the next 4 stations were right next to each other. It's not really a woods course. Most of the stations are out in the open shots. I enjoyed myself and they throw a good mix of targets. It's a beautiful place, but they've got some tough competition from some of the other courses on the eastern shore. If you're looking for a place to take the family, this is it. |
